About Celia
Celia is a photographer and filmmaker with 18 year’s experience currently based between the Middle East and Europe.

Inspired by human behavior with a love for capturing everyday life, Celia can quickly connect to the culture and essence of a place or person. She has covered a variety of social issues and human stories that stir her passion for the world. She’s equally at home in both photography and film.

Having lived out of a suitcase for many years, she returned to London in 2020. With her HEFAT training, she has worked in many sensitive and hostile situations including with children and is extremely experienced operating in the Middle East having lived in Lebanon, Palestine and the UAE for many years.

Celia’s broadcast experience ranges from sole operator with her FS7-2 to directing large commercial crews, drone sequences, script writing, multi-camera directing, and working with presenters both amateur and professional. Additionally, she edits with Premiere and FCPX.

Celia’s clients include editorial, broadcast and corporate clients such as Vice, BBC, Wall Street Journal, AJE, The Guardian, NYT, Esquire, Der Spiegel, Financial Times, Lipton, Bentley, Nokia, The W Hotel, Landor, Audi, HSBC. I also work for various NGOs including Unicef, Action Aid and Save the Children.
